Probing combustion species with infrared spectroscopies

Abstract

Infrared cavity ringdown laser absorption spectroscopy and degenerate four-wave mixing spectroscopy are used to probe trace species in combustion environments. This presentation will address the relative merits of the two techniques for flame chemistry studies.
