Abstract

We consider the investigation performed as the basis of the future project on detection of gravitational waves. As a source of gravitational waves we chose the isolated 1.6-ms pulsar PSR 1937+21 and another periodic astrophysical objects. The upper limit of the dimensionless amplitude of the gravitational wave h<7.10-27. Thus, it would be reasonable to say about an attempt of gravitational wave detecting from the 1.6-ms pulsar, only if the antenna sensitivity were sufficient for measuring h~10-27.
