Abstract
Over recent years many researchers [1,2] have shown that the kinetics of conventional high- temperature copper vapour lasers (CVL’s) can be modified using hydrogen additives, thereby improving their performance. To date, however, there has been no comprehensive study examining the effects of halogen donors (which have been attributed to enhancing the kinetics of Cu HyBrID lasers) on the performance of conventional high temperature CVLs.
