The creation and dynamics of 3D spatial solitons formed in a saturable nonlinear medium

Abstract

The formation and interaction of 3D bright spatial and optical vortex solitons were experimentally investigated in a resonance nonlinear medium. Aspects of soliton instability, attraction, repulsion and fusion, under conditions of saturating nonlinearity, are discussed.
