Abstract

Holographic interferometry has recently been successfully applied in a superorbital expansion tube [1]. An extension of this technique is near resonant holographic interferometry (NRHI), which can be used for enhancing the sensitivity and for species specific measurements [2]. NRHI combines the power of holography with the species selectivity of spectroscopy and can provide three dimensional species specific images in complex flows.
