Abstract

We report on the femtosecond study of the band-edge emission in CdS NC’s performed by photoluminescence (PL) up-conversion. Time-resolved PL spectra show the presence of shallow localized states dominating the cw band-edge emission. The PL cynamics indicate a strong difference in the electron and hole trapping rates.
