Femtosecond two-color four-wave mixing experiments on GaAs quantum wells using two independently tunable femtosecond lasers

Abstract

Most of the femtosecond four-wave mixing (FWM) studies in semiconductors thus far have been one color in nature. About the only exception has been a recent partially nondegenerate four-wave mixing study.1 This situation stems from severe limitations in terms of relative tunability between the two lasers and the timing jitter between the two pulses.
