Abstract

Recently, technical and scientific interests have resulted in the optical study of a few quantum dots (QDs) or localized states.1 For this purpose, the near-field scanning optical microscope (NSOM) is useful. In this paper, we discuss our recent progress on the near-fiefd spectroscopy of single InAs/GaAs self-assembled QDs (SAQDs) with emphasis on magnetophotoluminescence (magneto-PL). The results show the Zeeman spin splitting effect of individual QDs in magnetic fields up to 10 T.
