Abstract

It is now well known that signal or idler beams of spontaneous parametric down-conversion (SPDC) emitted from two spatially separated domains exhibit first-order interference when certain conditions are satisfied In this Letter, we report an experimental observation of a novel type of quantum interference, in which the sources of SPDC are separated not in space but in time.
