Abstract

Coupled solid state lasers system belongs to the wide family of non linear coupled oscillators. These systems are known to exhibit a great number of rich and complex dynamical behaviors: chaos, partial synchronization, periodic behavior, spiking....When the coupling strength is high enough, all the oscillators adopt a common and well defined phase relationship (phase locking). This state of “collective” order is very important since phase locked lasers are promising candidates for the delivering of high power coherent output.
