Abstract

During the last decade, an extensive theoritical work has been conducted in the field of Transverse Nonlinear Optics In nonlinear resonators, it predicts the formation of periodic patterns and the stability of cavity solitons These are very attracting due to their potential applications for pattern recognition and optical information processing In this domain, III-V semiconductor microresonators have been widely used, due to their small size, fast response and large nonlinearities Recent theoritical studies have confirmed the possible formation of periodic patterns and cavity solitons in planar semiconductor1 Therefore, they appear as appropriate candidates for the realization of reconfigurable arrays of cavity solitons
