Abstract

The dynamics of a class-B laser is very sensitive to frequency shifted optical feedback. We have used this property, to develop a new imaging system where the laser source acts both as a reference beam (local oscillator), an optical amplifier, a spatial filter (due to the cavity mode matching) and as a possible detector[1].
