Plasmon polariton transfer along a nano-dot coupler for optical far/near field conversion

Abstract

We successfully fabricated a nano-dot coupler with a plasmon-polariton condenser for optical far/near-field conversion. Highly efficient energy transfer in the nano-dot coupler via near-field coupling between the plasmon-polariton modes of neighboring particles was observed.
