Coherent Spectral Narrowing of the Faraday Rotation in Rb Vapor Nanocell

Abstract

Faraday rotation in a nanocell with smoothly variable thickness L of Rb atomic vapor column in the range 140-1700 nm has been obtained. Unusual behavior of Faraday rotation versus the ratio L/λ (λ =780 nm) has been studied.
