Cavity quantum electrodynamics with quantum interference in a three-level atomic system

Abstract

Quantum interference and enhanced dispersion in three-level atoms (V-type) inside an optical cavity interacting with a single mode field can substantially reduce radiative and cavity decay rates to eliminate the use of miniaturized cavity.
