Deterministic Multiple Filamentation in air : theory

Abstract

We show that two processes allow the organization of multiple filamentation in air. Realistic 3+1 dimensional simulations predict a control of the pattern formation when either strong field gradients or phase distortions are imposed in the input beam profile.
