Abstract

Experimental and theoretical study of space-time transformation by propagating of 130-fs pulse in fused silica is presented. Light filamentation, conical radiation, pulse- and beam- splitting, coalescence and characteristic spectra are interpreted without using common mechanism of self-guiding.
