Abstract

The study of temporal multisoliton complexes in dissipative systems is of potential interest for the development of new schemes of optical data transport and processing. Besides important theoretical and numerical advances during the past decade, a series of experimental investigations have been performed during the past five years, based on the observation of unusual pulse dynamics in mode-locked lasers.
