Abstract

CdSe nanocrystals are high efficiency emitters which are commonly used as markers in biology, as bright emitters in optoelectronics and as high quality single photon sources in quantum optics. The characteristics of the emission of such quantum dot is highly dependant of its environment. The aim of this work is to study at a single particule scale the emission of such single quantum dots.
