Abstract

Delay and storage of quantum information encoded in light beams is an essential part of many quantum information protocols. The delay of classical information via EIT has been demonstrated and characterized recently [1]. The same group furthermore has built a rubidium resonant source of squeezed light [2] with which it should be possible to test the suitability of this delay technique on quantum information.
