A Single-Photon Source Based On Diamond Nanowires

Abstract

We have demonstrated single photon emission from diamond nanowires waveguides with embedded Nitrogen-vacancy color centers. Diamond nanostructures were fabricated with e-beam lithography and inductively coupled plasma reactive ion etching (ICP RIE) processes.
