Abstract

Using the fractional Fourier transform in optical coherence tomography, the dispersion induced by a 26 mm water cell was compensated for a spectral bandwidth of 110 nm. The theoretical axial resolution of 3.6 µm was recovered from the dispersion degraded point spread function of 49 µm.
