Zeptosecond timing resolution from a high-harmonic Gouy phase interferometer

Abstract

We present an interferometer that utilises high-order harmonic generation and the Gouy phase shift to generate pairs of attosecond pulses. The timing resolution of the passively stabilized apparatus is measured to be better than 100 zeptoseconds.
