Coded Strobing Photography for High-Speed Periodic Events

Abstract

We capture high-speed periodic events using a low-frame rate camera by temporally modulating the shutter (coded strobing) and demonstrate that the Nyquist rate constraint can be imposed on strobe-rate rather than the sensor-rate.
