One-Shot Light Field Fourier Ptychographic Microscopy for Complex Imaging

Abstract

One-shot light field Fourier ptychographic method for complex imaging is proposed. Complex information of a specimen is acquired from a captured elemental image by using the one-shot imaging system. Fourier ptychography is regarded as a promising candidate for obtaining the complex information by synthesizing sequence of images from different angle of illuminations. The conventional Fourier ptychography method, however, requires long acquisition and computational time due to processing of thousands of images. In this research, we propose a one-shot complex imaging with light field microscopy. The acquired light field image is converted for applying to the Fourier ptychography algorithm using pixel mapping method. Experimentally, we provide the complex information of the specimen to verify the proposed method.
