The Role of Late Photons in Time-of-Flight Diffuse Optical Tomography

Abstract

Diffuse-Optical-Tomography is extended beyond early-photon imaging to include the full temporal profile of transmitted photons. We show that in the highly diffuse regime, all photons are critical for image quality, independent of the arrival time.
