Abstract

How to lower the dose but maintain image quality is a challenge for x-ray imaging. Based on ghost imaging with a portable incoherent x-ray source we have reduced the radiation by an order of magnitude yet attained a resolution of 10pm, the minimum requirement for cancer diagnosis. The setup is simple and so has great potential for biomedicine.
