Utilizing Asymmetry to Obtain Superior Data in Push- Broom Hyperspectral Imagers

Abstract

Most push-broom hyperspectral imagers rely on circularly symmetric optics that require tradeoffs between spatial and spectral performance. Introducing anamorphic optics provides additional engineering freedom to mitigate the tradeoffs for improved optimization of hyperspectral imagers.
