Fast refractive index tomography of living cells in conventional microscope

Abstract

We demonstrate the application of refractive index tomography technique compatible with conventional transmission microscope for fast (10 fps) 3D living cell monitoring. The reconstructed refractive index distribution allows studying dynamics of eukaryotic cell organelle in 3D.
