A New Optimal-Power-Control Parameter of the Optical Storage Systems to which PRML detection is applied

In this paper, we present a new parameter: PM_Value. It can be used to evaluate RF quality and therefore can be used in the Optimal-Power-Control (OPC) of the next generation optical storage systems to which PRML detection is applied.
