Microprobe with Wedge-shaped Graded-index Fiber Lens for Near-field Recording Applications

Abstract

We demonstrated a microprobe with wedge-shaped graded-index fiber lens as a near-field optical source, which provides the maximum power throughput up to 1.7 at 45O incident angle, an enhancement factor of 104 compared with that of 60-nm square aperture.
