Abstract
China is planning to build a 5m THz telescope (DATE5) at Dome A, Antarctic, with two operation bands centered at 0.85THz and 1.4THz. This paper introduces mainly the development of ultra-sensitive superconducting detectors for the DATE5, including a 0.85-THz superconductor-insulator-superconductor (SIS) mixer, a 1.4-THz hot-electron bolometer (HEB) mixer, and a terahertz superconducting imaging array.
