Optically Controlled Terahertz Amplitude Modulator Based on Single-Layer Graphene

Abstract

An efficient terahertz amplitude modulator consisting of a single layer graphene on silicon substrate is investigated with an external contiounus-wave laser. The proposed work gives promising applications in high-performance terahertz modulators.
