Energy relaxation in scattering-assisted terahertz quantum cascade lasers

Abstract

The optoelectronic system is simulated self-adaptively with energy conservation. Calculated electronic temperatures and electron energy relaxation times in the lasing-establishment process from unsaturated to saturated states, are in good agreement with experimental results.
