Low repetition rate tunable femtosecond pulses generated from a fiber optical parametric oscillator

Abstract

We demonstrated generation of 800-kHz tunable femtosecond pulses from 970 to 1020 nm via a fiber optical parametric oscillator. The generated pulses could be used as a simple and flexible light source for biomedical applications.
