Single-Cavity, Dual-Comb Ultrafast Fiber Lasers and Their Terahertz Dual-Comb Metrology Applications

Abstract

Dual-comb mode-locked fiber lasers emitting asynchronous pulse trains have emerged as alternative, low-complexity dual-comb sources. We demonstrate that terahertz time-domain spectroscopy and frequency characterization could benefit from such lasers.
