Terahertz Beat Frequency from a Synchronously Dual-mode-locked Nd:YAG Laser at 1064 and 1123 nm

Abstract

A synchronously dual-mode-locked Nd:YAG laser is successfully designed at 1064- and 1123-nm emission. The synchronization of dual-mode-locked pulses generates the optical beating pulse trains with repetition rates up to 14.7 THz.
