2 kW fiber laser based on 20 µm-core double-cladding fibers and 915 nm pump sources

Abstract

We report a 2 kW monolithic Yb-doped fiber laser with Raman filtering within the resonant cavity. The laser is based on commercially widespread 20 µm-core double-cladding fibers and laser diodes at a wavelength of 915 nm.
