Abstract
Fiber optic Raman spectroscopy is a powerful tool for in-situ detection and selectivity, but it lacks sensitivity. Significant enhancement has been obtained by pre-concentration in a matrix of metal oxide, leading to selective in-situ detection of traces of DMMP, DIMP and MPA both in water and in gas phase, for a potentially portable device for detection of traces of chemical breakdown products.
