Diode laser-based tunable ultraviolet sources for combustion diagnostics

Abstract

Tunable, wavelength modulated ultraviolet sources have been developed based on nonlinear conversion of high power diode laser outputs and were used to probe key combustion radicals by high sensitivity absorption and phase-sensitive fluorescence methods.
