Generation of pulsed ultra-violet and mid-infrared supercontinua in standard single-mode fiber

Abstract

The coverage of super-continua generated in optical fibers was expanded in a straight-forward manner to cover the ultraviolet and the mid-infrared region. The generated light covered 337–405 nm and ~ 1.5–3.4 µm, respectively.
