Laser-induced phosphorescence for spray thermometry

Abstract

It is demonstrated that thermographic phosphors can be used to measure liquid phase temperatures extending the range of their applicability. For this purpose the phosphor Mg4F2GeO6:Mn was selected and dispersed into a n-dodecane spray.
