Abstract

The PPB level detection of NO and NO2 was achieved using laser-based photoacoustic spectroscopy with high power, room temperature, continuous wave external cavity quantum cascade lasers operating in 5.25 and 6.25 micron spectral regions, respectively. The paper presents the details of laser design and sensor performance.
