A Modified Raman Spectrometer to Measure Dissolved Gases in the Deep-Ocean

Abstract

A novel Raman spectrometer will be presented which can record species such as 13CO2, 12CO2 at depths up to 5000 meters absolutely, with high spectral resolutions (0.1 cm−1), high precision isotope ratios (1%) within minutes.
