Abstract

We investigate effects of molecular interference resulting from broad bandwidth excitation in femtosecond coherent anti-Stokes Raman scattering (fs-CARS) of N2 and O2. Particularly considered are the N2-CO and O2-CO2 polarization beatings in time-resolved fs-CARS thermometry.
