Abstract

A new approach to measuring temperature, in which calibration-free and high time-resolution character are simultaneously achieved, is exploited through the use of intrapulse spectroscopy. The method promises to overcome uncertainties resulting from laser instability in using conventional fixed wavelength techniques.
