Applications of Intracavity Absorption Spectroscopy to Quantitative Gas-Phase Species and Temperature Diagnostics

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

Several applications of intracavity absorption spectroscopy (ICAS) using home-made broadband crystal and fiber lasers emitting in the NIR spectral ranges of 1.2 – 2.1 μm will be presented. Results of measurements performed with μs time-resolution and/or high sensitivity in atmosphere, human breath, flames, plasma and shock-tubes, will be discussed.
