Temperature Imaging in Liquids using ZnO Thermographic Phosphor Particles

Abstract

Temperature field measurements in liquids were demonstrated using zinc oxide (ZnO) thermographic phosphor tracer particles. Physical and luminescence properties of the particles were characterised in liquid dispersions using particle sizing, spectroscopic and particle luminescence imaging techniques.
