Abstract

The saturation criteria for resonant Raman and electronic-resonance-enhanced coherent anti-Stokes Raman scattering (ERE-CARS) with ultrafast excitations are studied. Analytical results are obtained and duration dependencies of saturation are compared from nanosecond to femtosecond excitation regimes.
