Abstract

Since first proposal in 1970, intracavity absorption spectroscopy (ICAS) has matured into a powerful diagnostics technique. This talk will review several recent ICAS applications to combustion diagnostics based on homemade broadband crystal, fiber and dye lasers. In addition, promising directions for future developments in ICAS will be sketched.
